I can't disagree with any of your reasoning. Probably would have made sense to not do it at the same time as the actual fest itself, and that's a good point on the limits. If you have a finite number of cases, and you sold a finite number of tickets, simply set the limit assuming each person buys their full allotment. When inevitably there are bottles leftover, sell them in your tap room starting the following day or something. That part was weird to me (and I did get 6 of each, 5 after helping someone one).

I didn't know they were going to be released beforehand either, but they had plenty of signage at their booth as soon as you went in. The time change, I think, was to allow those with GA tix a better opportunity.

Great event. Sad I didn't get any of the bottles, but you win some and you lose some. I did leave with a stomach full of great sours and I got to visit a brewery I might not otherwise have hit up.

A good event all around despite a couple of hiccups. In line bottle share was not bad at all. Great to see some familiar faces and meet new ones. Solid event across the board. Will be back.

Full disclosure, I got 2 of each after waiting in what I thought was THE line....which became two lines. My gripe was the full case limit which pretty quickly came down to 6 and 6 and unfortunately down to 2 and 2. Was it really necessary to sell that kind of quantity?

Then again, breweries can do what they want. I thought the event was fantastic. It was crowded, but not overwhelming. The rains forced most people under the tent which gave me the opportunity to smoke my cigar and get CL pours at my leisure

Case limit? I was the second one in line and they were not doing cases. Although I was pretty intoxicated at that point so I may have been not paying attention completely

I agree, I thought the case limit was absurd. I was 4th in line (in the real line), and could have gotten a case of FF and/or Pomegranate. I got 6 bottles of FF and 1 bottle of Pomegranate, and since my buddy didn't make the line in time, he bought a FF and Pomegranate off me. I really liked FF, and would have loved a case, but I also knew there were a bunch of people at the fest and didn't want to be that guy. Should they have put it at 2 and 2 from the start? Probably, but it was cash only and they prolly wanted to sell it as quick as possible so they could get back to enjoying the fest.
