Really? I've had it several times and it's a mild, pallatable bit of tart. Maybe it was a very old keg?

    Trinity Brain of the Turtle.
In fact, almost all of the most sour beers I've ever had have come out of Trinity.

I'm not talking about this year's batch, last year's batch, a year before they bottled....it's a VERY different beer.

I agree that the recent batch, that came in bottles and kegs was not overly sour at all.

Ahhh, I toooooootally missed the part where you said first batch. :flushed: I have not had that batch, but from interviews, I read it was full sour, but switched to the blend. Oh well, disregard.

RR BEAT batch 5 & Weyerbacher Riserva are the two most sour beers that I have tried.

Honorable mention to 2010 Cascade kriek.

Tart of Darkness is definitely near the top of most sour beers I've had. I thought Upland Cherry and Kiwi were extremely sour, but the Raspberry and Blackberry not to much. I was remember Brute being quite sour

I don't think I saw anyone mention Tilquin Gueuze or Cuvee de Jacobins Rouge, both are nice and sour and are widely available here in NC, not sure about FL.
