I'll pile on with the FFF Skull'ole votes.

Peekskill Brewery made a tasty one called Aristocrats. Sour like sucking on a lemon in a good way. Will +1 Upland Kiwi too.

I haven't had a huge selection, but Sour in the Rye was very intense! I had Duchesse recently and thought it had an incredible vinegar presence but actually finished pretty sweet.

All the Upland lambics (especially kiwi) , Skull Ole, and the 09' Weyerbacher Reserva are all very aggressive sours. Too sour for most people, even people who like "sours".

This and BR Tartare are definitely up there. Super sour.

Had an aged sour stout at CBC for their anniversary that had a huge pucker factor. Great stuff.

Victory Kirsch Gose. Bracingly tart and acidic but very refreshing.

+1 Vote for Upland. Pretty much anything they make immediately removes all enamel from my teeth. Had one of their Peach 'lambics' with a year on it, and it was undrinkable. Sorry for my Indy friends, but most of their sour series is simply not good (with a few exceptions). I'm a huge fan of sours, but need some balance and complexity.

As for the best? So many good ones...Cantillon LPG 2009, Fou, SARA West Ashley, DDG. Side Project Saison du Ferm B1 or B3, Black & Wild...

'11 cascade apricot softened the enamel of my teeth. Absolutely not the best sour I've had, but if you're into it...

FFF Skull'Ole for me as well.. it was like eating 100 Cherry WarHeads at once. Not that there is anything wrong with that.

All these votes for Upland are actually making me more anxious to open up a bottle from this years lottery.. How does the Peach age?

Sour in the Rye w/ Kumquats is pretty mouth puckering, although you know Bruery knows that they are doing adding the rye, really helps compliment the extreme sour beer.

Upland Cherry. It was like a Warhead candy that never mellowed out. Undrinkable.
