Sourest Sour?

    Rare Barrel's Forces Unseen is phenomenal, like a high quality Belgian Gueuze with a hint of Brett funk at the end. Incredibly tasty!

    Their strawberry lambic is probably the most acidic/sour beer I've ever had. I love sours, but that was borderline torture.

    this one might be 1a or 1b for me, but i think the most sour beer i've had was windowsill by The Bruery

    I have had most of the beers described in this thread, and i have to say that the sourest one i have ever had has not been listed yet.

    I have twice had exceptionally sour stouts from Birrificio Del Ducato, really crazy sour (Italy)

    Fuzzy is pretty damned amazing. I have a magnum of it waiting for me to throw a sour party. Balaton was also pretty sour, and so is their farmhouse series (I've had Noir du Fermier and Bluet du Fermier, both very tart).

    Also, Perennial's Funky Wit I remember being nicely tart.

    Kiwi Upland is enamel peeling...there is a greedy dentist local to Upland who does an evil laugh and rubs his hands together each time their is a release at the brewery :slight_smile:

    Yes it probably was My Blueberry Nightmare and I bet it was Batch #4. Batch#4 was insane the amount of sour you got from it

    I've heard that skull ole is extremely sour, upland kiwi is crazy sour as well
