I'd recommend anything from DESTIHL's Wild Sour series. Very tart, very delicious.

La Folie from New Belgium is pretty sour. My friends think it is, anyways, they won't touch it.

Destihl's sours were just "tart" to me, they didn't seem that sour. La Folie and Jacobins Rouge on the other hand, were like sour explosions in my mouth.

Some of the Avery gold foil beers, e.g., Tectum et Elix, Fortuna, Insula multos Collibus, Obscuro & Nimbosus, are pretty potent. Might be worth tracking a few down.

Alexander is my desert island beer. I worked hard tracking down 8 bottles. Already drank two.

Terrapin Watermelon Gose was like Sour patch kids watermelon

Victory Kirsch Gose and their new Berliner Weiss were too sour for me to finish.

Flying Dog Berliner was very sour but very well done. My favorite.

I am not a fan of it, but Boulevard Funky Pumpkin is very sour, like vinegar sour. I see they followed it with Funkier Pumpkin. Knock yourself out. I like many of their other beers.

I just cracked a Fillmishmish from The Bruery that has been aged awhile, and it is quite sour. I have 2 more lurking around if you want to try it.

Union's Old Pro Gose is one of the most sour Gose's I've had. Its also a pretty solid as well.

I thought rodenbach grand cru was like balsamic vinegar.

Agreed on the DESTIHL front. The tartest I have had, though good.

Not sure I can handle more than one a night.

Hands down Mother Funker from The Bruery, it trades for almost nothing but it will straight up peel the skin off the inside of your mouth.

Good thread idea. Anyone could volunteer to counterweight this thread with sweetest beers? I can think of a lot that contains more sugar than an entire bottle of coke.

Pear Bear and Icelandic Pants of the Dead from FFF were definitely pretty sour, but if you want something from 3 Floyds that's more currently available, Molten Mirrors is also up there and was bottled.

The beer that immediately came to mind for me was Avery's III Dolia, though. By far the most sour I've had from their barrel-aged series, but still flavorful. A few quotes from my review of it:

"This is not for the faint of heart, nor the prone to heartburn. This is Avery at its most self-indulgent, its most immune to acidity.

"... a few pH measurements past reckless."

"... this is not an entry-level beer. This is not amateur hour."

If you drink a Destihl sour and a Southern Tier stout back-to-back I'm pretty sure your tastebuds will explode.
