Very few options are better or cheaper than good old Belgians IMO. there is some 2009 Marrige parfait gueze Ive seen hanging around (for only $17/750ml! *coughMNbreweriestakenotecough*). Hanssens is always solid, the Sour Power 6 pack is good bang for the buck, Pentagram is still plenty of places. Ive seen white birch berlinerweiss recently, but have never had it. Cisco has a whole line of sours, but they're all $20+ which is too rich for my blood unless its an awesome Belgian. Occasionally you can find De Cam, but havent seen it in a while.

Zipps has one of the best sour selections around.

You can still find some La Folie and Love Child #4 around, plus the Schells Brunette, with the Black Cherry soon to come.

Had la follie at ep tap house last night. $5 for a 10 oz pour was a great deal. Liked it a lot.

Minnesota must of recently gotten a shipment of Boon's sours. See them in many stores now. Marriage Parfait, Oude Gueze, and Kriek.

MCImes - if you like Berliners you should definitely try the White Birch. A solid Berliner IMO.

OP - I'd suggest Brau Brothers Bancreagie Sour Peated Ale. Still lingering out there.

Heck, the Costco in Maplewood has Duchesse by the boatload - and it's around $9 as I recall, maybe even $8.

Had a couple from White Birch in 12oz bottles. Sour Brown and Ned The Red. Both good, with the red being slightly better.

Finally tried Evil Twin's Nomader Weisse, I thought it was really tasty and will definitely be picking up some more.

Brau Brothers released a new one called Test Positive. Bought a 750ml bottle for $13.99 but have not tried it yet.

Soured amber ale positively infected with lacto, pedio, and just a touch of bret. Barrel aged for months in used oak barrels.

One to avoid is "Sour Bomb" from Bank Brewing. This $10 bomber does not deliver on any front.
