I'm coming to Dallas at the end of the month and was curious as to what all sour beers are fairly easy to find there. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Our second bottle release of Boxer's Revenge Organic Barrel Aged Wild Ale should be available at that time.

Just saw the Classic and only on tap at the Fort Worth Saucer. I didn't check to see if they had bottles yet.

Any time frame on das wunderkind? Also, is sour black metal stout in the works to be released? Did you guys decrease the amount of hops used for the sour black metal?

Our second bottling of Das Wunderkind! was on 5/30/12. We typically give our barrel aged sour beers about three months in the bottle prior to release, so we should be announcing the release around 8/30/12.

Barrel aged, sour Black Metal (working title) has been bottled as well. We've submitted the process statement to TTB for approval. Once we have TTB process approval, we'll seek TTB label approval followed by TABC label approval. We did not decrease the amount of hops we use for sour Black Metal.

    Cheers,

Isn't Boon supposed to be coming? I've seen Palm and Rodenbach around town, but no Boon.

Can't wait to try sour Black Metal! Huge fan of Tart of Darkness from The Bruery so will be fun to conduct a side-by-side!

I hope the new sour Black Metal can still have a cool metal reference. Maybe Death Metal or Doom Metal. Both could work!

Agreed. My favorite JK beer, by far. I might camp out to get some of this, should it come out in bottles. This beer is what convinced me to buy Bruery Tart of Darkness, which is also a sour stout.
