My wife and children are going on spring break next week and will be staying out side of Charleston. I was going to ask her to pick me up some beer that I cant find here in KY, since I have to stay here and work. Can anyone suggest anything that is available in the area that isnt available in KY? Is Jai Alai in SC? I really like DIPA, IPA and have started liking stouts. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I will limit this to mostly IPA/DIPA's since that is what you like best. I was told bottles were a week or two out, labels just got approved this week and have to be printed. Might find it on tap for growlers though
I meant growler fills. Bottles always trail a week or two behind the beer release on tap. The latest tap list for the weekend doesn't mention it, so I assume it will be around next weekend.
Westbrook Cap'n Skoons Ballistic Stout is supposedly pretty good as well. If you can go by Holy City Brewery, it's a fun little place to sample their beers. They usually have something decent on tap.
