anyone finding any Gose/Sour beers in south florida that taste good...unita is not good, wild sour is ok...found a Smokey and The Brett by Sweetwater but havent tried it yet...
I have seen Grimm Sours from time to time down here in places like Mendez Fuel, and Total Wine (rarely). I have seen Anderson Valley Blood Orange Gose at TW also, no idea if it's good. J Wakefield makes good ones but you would have to go to the brewery. Places like The Yardhouse will have Stush (Berliner Weisse) on tap.
Ok so thats about what i found. The Anderson Valley is really good actually it just has a low ABV...i tried Wheres The Yeast Bro from J Wakefield it was great. I need to go to yard house its been a while.
Sunset Corners in Kendall usually has sours from Grimm, Crooked Stave, To Øl...lotsa good stuff, it's my go to spot. MIA also has a decent amount of Berliners, but those are draft only. I can't think of anything that stands out at a total wine aside from the Grimm and Crooked Stave stuff they got last summer.
Yeah Sunset Corners is a good shout. They have some Jester King stuff too. They do charge a few dollars more on everything but that is expected.
I like the Anderson Valley gose beers as well. Others I have found around South FL (Total Wine or ABC) that I have liked have been Ritterguts Gose from Germany which they sell at TW in 1 pint bottle for like $6, Sierra Nevada Otra Vez (12 pack cans around $14), Prairie Flare (1 pint bottle have seen recently for around $7 at TW), Tomoka Tom Yum Thai Gose (4 pack cans around $11) and To Øl Gose to Hollywood (1 pint can around $6)
