Down at Cape May Brewing Company we've done a bunch of lagers over the years on draft only, but in the Spring we'll be canning Cape May Lager, an upcoming Pale Lager/Helles. We're really excited to get a Lager into the full-time/packaged lineup, and the trial batches we've done have been extremely refreshing/easy drinking/crushable - can't wait to get it to market. Once Cape May Lager comes out it'll full see full/wide distro, so you'll definitely be able to find it regularly at your local spots.

But to your guys original posts, yeah Tonewood is killing it - Eli and the guys over there make some incredible beers, and Mulletcut is definitely awesome.

Hoping to stop at Tonewood tomorrow night for the Powder Daze release. Had the beer on tap and it was great. Just hoping they don't sell out too quickly as I was going to stop to pick up the DDH Fuego last Friday night but it was sold out by 6:00pm.

I plan on doing the same. If there's a huge line I'll probably drive right by though lol. FWIW, their facebook said there is more available than they had DDH Fuego.

Thank you for taking care of the locals first. North Jersey already has a ton of great breweries and they are always the first to get taken care of. South Jersey is finally catching up. Glad you guys do such a great job!

I think we'll see less and less craziness there. People jumped on it because its finally a local "release" (god I hate that word). Give it a few months especially if its every week and it might get nice and chill again. Tonewood if you're reading this please can your dunkel, love you guys.

You were right, by the way. I showed up at 4:40 and was out within 5 mins. The beer itself is outstanding, by the way; like a pint from home (Massachusetts)...sorry for the poor pic, my camera is broken

Yep, made the trip to Tonewood today and grabbed some Powder Daze cans. Delicious beer, and it’s great to see these guys knock it out of the park again, since I thought some of their hoppier beers tasted off back in August. Between this and DDH Fuego, you folks are getting spoiled with great releases.

Beer looks/sounds tasty but I gotta say those flavor descriptors are nauseatingly douchey

I've heard much about them, haven't had any of their beers (I don't support self-perpetuated hype). I'd say the same for them if they use similar flavor descriptors. For example, anyone who has had vanilla custard knows that the aroma/flavor of said dish wouldn't (or shouldn't) "assault the nostrils and taste buds"

Very happy to see that Tonewood got it right with the 2nd DDH Fuego release. They brewed a ton of it and it lasted I think a whole week at least. No need to create artificial "shortages" to create hype and lines. This is how you brew beer so that beer drinkers can enjoy it. Cheers!

Also brew loads of styles well, they are the perfect example of what good local beer can be.
