I brought back a 4-pack from Cape May. I love their IPA profiles much more lately this year than in the past.

Just an FYI, Powder Daze from Tonewood is a haze/juice delight. Really love where they're heading with these beers...

I thought the white caps one was way too sweet. But admittedly I'm kind of over the juicebomb IPA thing.

I see that Bucket Brigade Brewing in Cape May Court House just opened. Has anyone been yet? How is it?

They were at the Fireman's Convention in September. Sounded like they had a decent lineup they were working on. Have yet to get back down there to try it.

I had a couple their offerings (a very thin oatmeal stout and a watery Belgian pale) a week ago in Cape May and the best thing I can say is they are nice guys. I will will check back in a couple of months to see if their beer improves but right now, you aren't missing anything.

I will never judge a new brewery on their initial offerings. I feel they need to iron out the wrinkles first. But, talking to the two gentlemen at the convention, i had a feeling they might be over their heads a little bit. Just my read on them.

Kings Road Brewing in Haddonfield opens this week I think.

I picked up a couple of Ludlam Island crowlers from Clayton today, my first time with this brewery. Based on the samples these sure seem like two outstanding beers: Mosaic DDH Let It Shine, dank as fu*k, and Thunder Jacket, rich and chocolatey. I'll be sharing these with the family tomorrow. And I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for these guys from now on

Ludlam Island is no joke. Totally under the radar for now. By far my favorite brewery down in that area.

Only place I’ve bought beer lately, such great variety and quality. I wish it was 12 oz and I hope this doesn’t start to attract your typical release clientele. I am optimistic that it won’t. Will be crowded early then clear out. Gotta get my weekend growler fill.

Sold out in 2 hours..good for them, they deserve it. They dropped limits to 3-4pks pp and handled this release like a typical Friday night in oaklyn. Hope to see more of this in their future.

Got there around 6:10 and the last few 4 packs were walking out the door. About 10 minutes after I arrived there must have been 30 people in line behind me. Picked up a fresh 6 of Fuego and a crowler of Mono Simcoe. These guys are flying high.

Glad for them but as someone who goes most Friday it was weird to see. I’ll just stick to going when they don’t do this as the line/juice chasers ruin vibes at yet another brewery. Their regular beers are all great enough except for the haze bros.

I am also grateful that they have essentials created an environment for both now. The chasers and the people who just like good drinkable beer. Hopefully the extra income means more lagers.

I do have to say the larger crowds did turn me off from sitting and enjoying a pint while I was there. Usually I'll have a pint or two when I grab cans but yesterday I grabbed and left.

I took your advice (at least I recall it was you...I could be wrong) and went for that Mulletcut...what a terrific beer. Not gonna lie, I was pretty skeptical because most modern craft breweries typically don't do lagers very well but I'm glad you recommended it. Would love to see a helles from them someday.

Yep that was me. They had a dunkel on too in December and it was awseome, like perfect. Hopefully it comes back but I agree I'd love a helles from them. Glad you liked it!
