    Hi All,

Heading up to Stratton for a wedding this weekend. Been doing some searching on bottle shops/bars/restaurants and doesn't seem to be much. Looks like Meuleman's Craft Draughts might be a good option that is not too far.

It seems like a reach, but does anyone have any suggestions/hidden gems as to best places in the area? Within a 30 min. drive would be preferable.

    Thanks in advance.

Stratton is tough and it sees like everything in VT is > 30 minutes away

Meulemans is great option. Regularly have Backacre and I got some 3F there last year.

The Pizza Stone in Chester has been good in the past.

The only place I know of is Manchester Discount Beverage.
The Pizza Stone use to be good a few years ago when they carried Hill Farmstead, but they lost that connection and no longer carry HF.

Bar 802 and Firetower in Stratton Village typically have a few local items on tap.

Honeypie has awesome upscale diner food. Not sure of the beer offerings, though.

I don't have anything new to add but we go to Stratton once a year and I have found Meuleman's Craft Draughts to be a great stop. Small shop but great owners and great selection. Grabbed a few Foley Brothers brews that were phenomenal, especially Pieces of Eight if they have it!

Meditrina in Chester usually has a very good bottle/can selection, they'll have the most recent foley, burlington beer, hermit thrush, 14th star, etc. Small shop but a very good selection for the area

Late to the party here, but Honeypie had like 4 decent beers on tap last time I was in there in late July. Meuhlmans' would be a must stop. Brewfest Beverage up in Ludlow would probably be worth your time. Definitely spend some time in Brattleboro either coming or going. Whetstone would be a solid choice, but stops at the Co-op and/or Hermit Thrush brewery would be a good ideas too.

The Beverage Depot in Manchester has a nice selection. Not really fitting for a wedding attendee, but Hapgoods Store in Peru is a nice place to get a beer, they usually have Fiddlehead on tap. Have had good experiences at McNeills the last few times I have been there (just drink what Ray does).
