    Hey guys and gals! Long time lurker, new member now I suppose. I live in South Louisiana near Lafayette about a mile from Parish Brewing. I have tried lots of IPA brews but always come back to my style which are the lagers and pilsners. I look forward to seeing suggestions and all that you guys have to offer here. Thanks for having me!

    Welcome to the club! Maybe you've already seen it, but if lagers are your love, there is an active thread in the Beer Talk/The Bar forum 'Let's Give Lagers Some Love' that can give you some ideas of good examples for you to consider if they are distributed in your area.

    I don't recall much discussions about beers, breweries, bars in your neck of the woods, so I hope that you can be comfortable in being active in the national forums.

    Welcome to joining Beer Advocate after being a lurker @TheRaginCajun1974 !

    I would like to hit a road trip this or next Winter through the South and then into Texas. I have visited Louisiana before, but not as a beer drinker. I would like to check out Parish Brewing, as I have enjoyed what I have tried from them in the past.

    Do you have any other local or regional breweries I should consider / check out?
