I'm sure there are discussions on this topic on this site but was hoping I can get an update on hot breweries in LA and the Anaheim area. San Diego has plenty but prefer to keep this discussion to LA and Anaheim. I was thinking Monkish and Bottle Logic. Any others? I will be in LA 1st week in August and was hoping to hit a few of the better ones. Cheers
Thanks. There's so much great info on this site and I assume there are space limits at some point; not sure the right answer but I would think most posts should be archived after 6 months if space is an issue.
A quick search in the search box helps. But keeping it updated is the issue. There's a good one for San Diego that's kept up seasonal. It would be nice if the LA/OC area had one similar. But it's the time and quality issue. One would have to be dedicated and have the time to make sure it's kept up to date. So many changes every month. That being said, Monkish and Highland Park has been the most talk here lately. HPB is where I've been hitting up lately and it's a good drive from where I'm at. Beachwood was my go to place. It still is a great place and should be on your list. In the OC, Noble and Bottle Logic would be your closest spots. But keep an eye on Unsung Brewery (Tustin), opening soon. Had their Natura IPA on tap and I thought it was very good. A few of their IPA's can be found in the OC area. Get the app Taphunter and use it to find whatever your looking for in the LA/OC area.
Thanks @dcgunman - I have taphunter on my cell - we really don't use it back east; primarily beermenus and untappd.
