Wondering if anyone can recommend stores/bottle shops in Southern Quebec near the Vermont or New York border that would have a decent selection. I've been to the gas station across from Brasserie Dunham, but looking for other places within a 30 minute drive or so from the US border, ideally to the west of Dunham. It appears there is an SAQ shop in Napierville, is there anything else that would have interesting beer in that area?

Nothing in Napierville area and don't bother with that SAQ. Best bet is probably Epicerie Les Halles in St Jean Sur Richilieu. Probably about 35 to 40 mins from Highgate or Lacolle border crossings. If you pass any IGA's on your travels check it out, most now have a bit of a craft selection. Good luck!

Whereabouts in Vermont are you? Coming to Burlington next weekend and wouldn't mind trading a few beers

Le Marché du Village in Ange Gardien is one of the best bottle shops in Quebec (it's actually just a huge beer section inside a big grocery store) and it's about ~40 min from the Highgate Springs crossing (I89).

Thanks all for the recommendations, helpful to have a few ideas in my back pocket when running up to Montreal or Granby, or just hopping over the border. Been a few years since I've been to the closest IGA and they had mostly boreale and St Ambroise.

If you need recommendations for Burlington, let me know. Heading out for a few weeks, but appreciate the offer to swap some beer!
