Southern Star Black Crack distribution

    Sorry for the dumb question, but is Black Crack typically distributed? I am going to Houston on Monday 11/23 and would like to pick some up.

    Yes. With te type of license Southern Star has they can't sell beer to go from the brewery. They have to send any packaged product into distribution. There's no guarantee it will be in distro yet by the time you're here, but it will definitely be distributed to stores around Houston.

    They had quite a bit (aged) at the Hay Merchant on Black Friday for take home purchase. Not sure if they have any left and whether or not they would still sell it for take home.

    I had heard nothing but people raving about this last year and found it on tap at the Moon Tower Inn. I thought it was a hot mess.
