Glad to see this Smash thing start coming around. Ive also seen Long Trail do one. It creates simplified tastes in this complex beer world. And to me, complex is not always king. Plus it gives people including myself to see what the single hop is like instead of picking it out of a brew with 4 other hop varieties.

I had the 2014 2XONE with mosaic. It was tasty. Would buy again.

I thought 2xOne was straight-up nasty and one of the worst DIPAs I've tried. We'll see if this is better, but I've yet to be impressed by any of Southern Tier's beers except for Live.

I saw a four pack of it here in PA and it was $20 at a Wegmans...I'll pass...like Southern Tier but not at that price point. What are others paying?

The term SMaSH is pretty common in homebrewing. Its a good way to learn the differences in flavors.

Sounds almost identical to 2XOne. Loved 2XOne, will definitely try this.

I homebrew so do quite a few smash's (what the hell is the plural of smash) for these exact reasons. They have been in my top beers I have made too.

If it at Weiss it could be $20. They have some really bad prices and sculpin/GF just collects dust.

    Enjoy

I just picked up two six packs ($10/each) and it definitely reminds me of the 2014 2XOne. This stuff is good.

Had this today, tried to like it, but it had a skunky nose and taste to it.
