Tried this one last week and though I enjoyed it initially it just seems to get sweeter as it warms. I may revisit it in the future and am glad that I was able to try it but will not go out of my way to get another bottle of it. Would be interested to see what some age would do to this beer.

Very sweet, but I have enjoyed it in the past. What matters most is that the wife likes it

Thought I would really like this beer but it was just too much for me by itself. Liked it a lot better after I mixed in some Founders Rubaeus.

Was fortunate enough to get this on tap last weekend
Very sweet but a very good beer which definitely serves well as a dessert beer. My only complaint was the booziness in the finish. It wasn't masked very well imo and this made the sweetness harder to tolerate for me.

These are great to share with the gf or a date because most girls like it and a 22oz bomber is too much sweetness

made the mistake of thinking i could drink a whole bottle solo. good for a few sips or a sampler before the syrupness of it all sets in. after that the going gets tougher. does anybody have experience of aging one? does the sweetness fade at all?

Cellar some Creme Brulee, the longer the better. Over bought setting up my celler in '08 and have reaped great benefit from that mistake in regards to Creme Brulee. After 4-5 years it's liquid Butterscotch Pudding. The overly sweet concoction turns to just sweet enough. It's so good I've been building up a few each year just to ensure a bright future. I promise you won't be dissapointed.

It seems a weird idea.....a cream brulee beer. But it's awesome damn good. I love it and it taste like it promises. I keep too many of all the Blackwater series on hand.
I DO like the old labels better. Along a similar vein...I tried another companies' "Banana Bread" beer. Utter yuck. Abysmal.

Way too sweet for me. I can finish a bomber, but it's not fun.

I have some friends that love this beer. Way too sweet for me...tastes like drinking the glaze off a glazed doughnut IMHO.

Since this is available right now and since Southern Tier hasn't really disappointed me, I might pick up two bottles, one for now and another for aging. I've just recently been building an inventory for my cellar and this might be a good addition.

Also curious to try the B&T with this and Pumpking.

I would guess since you are closer to New York, where Southern Tier is located, that Creme Brulee is probably available readily at your local bottle shop, or at a Total Wine if you have those up there. I know down here in NC it's on the shelves, and has been for quite some time. As far as price, I think they have it anywhere from $8-$9 in a 22oz. You will enjoy it, it's a Halloween party favorite every year at my house.
