Bottle conditioned APA, and in my opinion, one of the best I've ever had. This definitely bumped SNPA down a not h. Anyone else really happy with theis new release?

This is one of my favorite beers recently. When I buy 6ers they tend to last a WHILE because I like mixing it up. I drank this one in two days. Extremely drinkable, great flavor (hint of lemon), perfect body. Yes, I am very happy with this release and it's THE beer I've been talking up more than any others recently. Easily in my top 3 APAs of all time (Dales, and , hmmm, live might be number one)

    Live, Humming Ale, SNPA.

Glad I'm not the only one who loves it.

Tried it last week and was impressed, it's really nice.. I like Southern Tier although they're hit and miss for me, but this is definitely a hit, imo..

Had one the other day. I need to do a side-by-side with Phin&Matt's(package boasts 3 malts/hops to Live's 4/4) just for comparison's sake.

I was curious, saw it at my local. I'll have to grab a sixer!

Guess I'm buying this one soon. Cutting down spending lately and picked up rye of the tiger over this a few days ago (not that I regret it). Will be in the fridge this weekend when I go to grab enjoy by/double trouble/IRS

The store I work at only got one case, and being the nice employee I am I just sold the last 6 pack we had to a couple looking for something light and tasty to go with their seafood dinner, I'll just have to grab it somewhere else (which is what I did with the first 6 pack lol, I bought it before our store even got it in)

I told you Ryan! I should of bought the last 6er at my store, lol

Very much agree. But, you should try Maine Beer's Peeper Ale.

Live is way better than Phin & Matt's, but if you can get a single it's probably worth a comparisson for the heck of it. I didn't really think Phin & Matt's really went anywhere interesting, for whatever it's worth.

Don't mean to rain on the Live Parade, but I found the beer uneventful. Not saying it was bad by any means, but not great either; a solid APA. Living in ST country, I am looking forward to their new Blackwater release: Plum Noir.

Had a single of Live with dinner today and enjoyed it. For once it wasn't raining this month in MI and the temp was around 60 (so spoiled from it being 80 in March last year...) so I started it outside and finished the rest with my grilled food. It's a good outdoorsy beer, I'd say.

I liked it, but I'm not convinced that it's 70% better than SNPA when it's 70% more per serving than a 12er of SNPA cans.

Love Maine Beer Co. A and their beer lineup, BUT you can almost get a whole sixer of Live for the price of one Peeper.

Almost went through a case already. A very hoppy easy drinking pale ale. Nothing amazing but very tasty and simple bottle conditioned ale.
