Meulmans Craft Drafts in Jamaica about 30 mins away is solid little store

 

Short answer is yes. More information is needed however depending on how your friend is arriving here and where are they coming from.

 

I'm not the friend but I too will be there, driving there, coming from Mass.

 

Two decent stores in Bennington and Backacre is sometimes available. What route are they taking?

 

Mount Snow Octoberfest is this weekend- pretty good selection of beers usually.

 

Hapgoods store in Peru has great food and usually has two good beers on tap.

 

If he comes through Troy, Hoosick St Beverage is excellent and there are a couple of other stores in Albany that will be better then anything he finds in Southern Vt.

 

Make sure you tell your friend to go to Manchester Discount Beverage and ask for Rusty. Have them ask Rusty, "which shelf can I find Heady Topper cause I can't seem to find it?"...then have friend run for cover.

There is plenty to choose from at Discount Beverage...unless they're going vermont whale hunting, it should fulfill most all needs.

 

It used to be sitting in the cooler, top shelf, just left of center in Manchester.

Was just in Manchester visiting family for Thanksgiving. Rusty at Manchester Bev took good care of me on Black Friday. Mueleman's is closer to Mt. Snow, though.
