Southern Yankee Beer Co. Now Open (Spring)

    Hit Southern Yankee for their grand opening today up in Spring. Solid lineup of 10 beers to start with, looks like they're going to be open weekends to start and expand from there. They're off 1960 between 45 and the Hardy, not a whole lot else up in the area so if you're up this way it's worth a detour!

    Ok see they do a Grodziskie, so I am game, then see they have a Table Beer on their upcoming list. Might hit them up this weekend. Thanks for the announcement.

    I stopped in over the weekend. I will return.

    Hopsack was really good and I took a crowler home to the wife. Not my smartest move starting with the triple IPA and wacking my pallet when I wanted to try a few different beers. Should have done a flight but whatever.

    The imperial stout was on the lighter side, more buried hatchet than old raspy.

    It is a family run business and I chatted with them all, very nice people.

    Price is reasonable too. Brand new building. Worth checking out.
