Southwest Florida Brewery Tours

I've never gone on one of the tours but I follow them on FB and it seems that they are really well done and everyone appears to have a good time. I know they are well-integrated into the local scene as they have been doing collabs with some of the breweries for special events. I'm guessing that the enjoyment levels of the passengers is somewhat dependent on the quality of brewery that is attended. Being local, I know that some breweries are top-notch while others are still finding their feet. My friends and I have oft debated going on the bus, however, we've been to most of the breweries ourselves. I will say the price is pretty fantastic for what is provided. Speaking personally, I recommend going on whatever tour makes a trip to Point Ybel. A fantastic nano-brewery that does some interesting and tasty brews.

BTW, the owner of the brewery tour bus is a fellow BA'er.

I am a fellow BA'er and I certainly do my best to represent the SWFL brewery scene. I love my job and our beer scene! I think we're doing a great job and our oldest breweries are barely 3 years old.
I'm working on another collaboration with Momentum for the Bonita Brew Fest in Feburary and if all goes well I should also have a treated firkin for the Ballpark Festival of Beers at the end of January.

 

@Barhoppin13 is a great dude! Met him at MBCP Day 2015, and have chatted with him online a few times.
