Southwest Ohio Tasting, anyone?

    I tried this before and the thread died a slow, pitiful death...

    So let's try this again - Is there any interest in trying to get some BAs together for a tasting? Preferably around the Dayton area. Truth be told, I have a lot of great beers that need to be shared with some awesome beer geeks. I need to clean up some of my cellar.

    I'm thinking sometime in late August/early September. Any and all are welcome.


    So, who's interested? I wanna get this going!

    I'm in for this again. May be able to bring another friend who likes good beer but isn't as into it as me if you are looking to fill a certain number of seats.

    I'm thinking a Friday/Saturday would be best. How does Saturday, September 1 sound?

    I have fantasy football drafts on Saturday the 25th and Saturday the 1st because I'm a nerd.

    If the date changes, keep us posted. Would love to do a little cellar cleaning myself. Thanks.

    I'd be interested. My closet/cellar is not too big but I can bring a few things. Right now the first would probably work for me.

    I'd drive out for it, depending on the day. I have school on Mondays and Wednesdays, so a Saturday would work pretty well :slight_smile: I'm sure I could get something from the Weasel to share, along with a couple bottles in the fridge :slight_smile:

    This is already turning out 100 times better than my last attempt, haha.

    There's a slight change of plans (for the better!) - A friend of mine said he would be willing to host this at his house in Dayton. He is an artist, and he occasionally hosts art shows in the space in his garage. We were thinking about having the tasting then having an art show afterwards. I'll be providing some home brew to serve at the show, and everyone is welcome to stay and hang out.

    I'm thinking something like beer tasting from 6 - 9 then art show from 9 -11. It'll be nice, casual, good times. I'll bring some finger food like cheese and crackers or something, but if anyone wants to volunteer to bring other food then I would greatly appreciate it!
