I'm brand new to the forum, so I hope I'm posting this in the right place.

Picking up a 1/6bbl of Elysian Space Dust later today. I've been trying to get information from the brewer to no avail. It seems I can only reach tap rooms that only tell me basic info like, "start at 8 psi on your regulator and go up from there." When I ask them for specific CO2 volume, they give me a phone number that doesn't work. Anyways... curious if anybody knows the v/v of CO2 for Space Dust.

Not holding my breath here, but maybe I'll get lucky! Happy weekend!

Most beer made by the big boys is carbed at 2.4-2.6 volumes of CO². The reason for this is that most commercial systems do not utilize secondary regulators and all kegs are poured at the same psi. This carb level is pourable by retailers and acceptable to consumers. Given enough time, the keg actually balances itself to the system.

I'm a huge fan of 11psi @ 35°F as a starting point...but it all depends on your actual liquid temp and the accuracy of your regulator gauge.

Yeah, I forgot that Elysian is InBev now. Good catch.

This will only be the 2nd keg I have tried since getting the unit fired up. On my first 1/6 bbl (Big Wave), I was at 10 psi - 36.5F beer temp. Worked well for me. I will give that a try.

    Thanks for the response!

Yes, but they were a regional brewery before InBev...and that qualifies as well.
