Spaten Doppelspaten Optimator question

Back in the 1970's and 1980's, I used to drink Doppelspaten Optimator from Spaten Brewing Co. when I could get my hands on some from my local distributor. Haven't had any in about 20 years. Lately, I've been looking for it again and can't find it anywhere, but I can find something called Spaten Doppelbock Optimator. Does anyone know if Doppelspaten Optimator has been discontinued? Or did they just change the name of the beer to Doppelbock Optimator? Doppelbock doesn't seem to have the same sweet aftertaste that Doppelspaten had.
