Has anyone seen bottles of this around West LA?

I got my bottle at Total Wine in Northridge. Not West LA but still.

How's the heat on it? Is this a brew worth going out of my way for?

They seem to be sold out. Thanks for the info though, it's much appreciated.

Just as a heads up, while on the phone with them, I was told they just received a bunch of the Epic beers today. They did not receive Big Bad Baptist, but did get in 825 State Stout, Exponential Series Imperial Stout, and a bunch of the others.

I would also give Liquid Wine & Spirits in Chatsworth a shot. They usually have good stuff.

I know you asked for bottles, but they do have it on tap at Surly Goat right now in WeHo. A kick ass bar worth checking out imho

I found that Scarface, non BA, is much better. I tasted last years batch, current, and BA at the brewery a bit ago. Current won for me hands down.

Funny i haven't seen the regular version around yet, just the BA version. I would like to try them next to each other.

I agree. Had the BA version on tap and wasn't impressed at all. Would rather just save $6 and buy the regular version.

yea thats the barrel aged one, have yet to try it but heard its tasty. and you got a good price on it, ive seen it at 3 different places the cheapest being 12.99. i also heard from the brewery that theres not much to go around either.

as for the non ba. at 5.99 its one of the best impy stouts at that price range
