So recently went by my nearest Specs for some Oktoberfest beer and I got to say that Im dissapointed with my options. They only had a handful to choose from :. ( Dont they realize that oktoberfest in Germany is ongoing as we speak? Not sure who does their beer list but they are terrible, always have the same craft beers available with exception of one offs here or there. Love my Oktoberfest beer! Prosit!
Who is offering the best Oktoberfest beer line up in Austin? Central Market, Witchcraft, Whipin, or Specs at Brodie ln? Any Hofbrauhaus?
I was told that pumpkin beer was the reason why Specs was so limited on Oktoberfest beer. It seems like pumpkin beer is selling better or being requested more than Oktoberfest. Boy was I surprised cause personally im not a fan of pumpkin beer so my thought was yuck who drinks pumpkin beer but apparently a lot of folks do. I hope this doesnt become a trend cause as a beer Geek I think Oktoberfest deserves to be celebrated properly not with pumpkin beer.
