Hey beer friends. I'm on the BaTop 250 quest. when i printed my list out, speedway kopi luwak (non ba) was on it. is this the same beer or a different beer from the Speedway Beer Geek Kopi Luwak collab? does anyone know? I want to be true to the quest and chase/drink the proper beer? Thanks for your expertise.
Correct, different beers. A couple years ago, Alesmith did Viet, JBM, and Kopi as variants of Speedway. In ADDITION, there is the collab with Mikkeller.
do either of you know if when it was done a few years ago it was bottled or just growlers? wondering about possibility to still finding one!
That collab was done once and put in 750mL bottles like the rest of the Speedway series. It was released in January of 2015.
