I just stumbled upon the last remaining Speedway at Yankee in South Attleboro. ($13.99)

This marks the first time I've actually seen it sitting on a shelf as the other times I've found a bottle a beer guy has kept the bottle along with the whole case "in the back" and sold it to me upon request.

This got me wondering, is Speedway becoming more avialable in MA as of late?

I wish the BA versions showed up here! I've never even heard of them reaching the state.

I believe this comes out in Nov/Dec and Ma only get a couple of cases.

I was wondering the same thing because I got my hands on three bottles of Speedway this time around, which has never happened. I think Alesmith must have increased distribution. Either way, I am very happy to have gotten as many bottles as I did. Thank you, Alesmith!

And while I am grateful, I have to also put in a wish for some of the BA Speedway. There's an empty bottle sitting in the window Lord Hobo, but that's the closest I've ever gotten to it.

A new batch hit Julios a couple weeks ago (plus a variety of other AleSmith brews like the best bitter).

Was 1 bottle limit but then about a 1/2 dozen bottles were out on the shelf. Pretty sure they are gone now but some new stock appears to have hit the area recently

It's a "year round" brew, though I think it's more pumped out periodically rather than constantly.

I feel like I've been seeing Alesmith around more in general, so perhaps they have increased production (or at least distro). Speedway is easy for people to grab on the west coast, so I think historically we have just never gotten much.

Speedway is in like every store on the west coast and almost half the price of what we pay! You'll never see the BA versions distributed here since they are brewery only releases with a very small amount produced. FWIW, I greatly prefer regular speedway to the barrel aged version so you aren't missing much.

That is interesting. I've always wanted to try the BA version.

Hrmmm... I thought the BA version was incredible... There is plenty of Speedway kicking around if you know where to look...
