I'm planning to brew a 5 gallon batch of hefeweizen, and to prime it with Speise. Using the following calculator: http://www.brewersfriend.com/gyle-and-krausen-priming-calculator/ If I plug in 5.0 for the "Volume being packaged" field, does that mean that I just draw off the required Speise amount, say 2 quarts, and then put the remaining 4.5 gallons into the fermenter? I'm not sure if I should be adjusting my recipe up to a target volume of 5.5 gallons to account for the Speise needed.
