Spellbound announced that they are officially open for business starting tonight. Hours will be Thurs and Fri 5-9 for now with Saturday hours to be added at a later date. Looks like I need to head west soon to check them out.
Was there last weekend for the soft opening. It is an awesome place and they have some solid beers. Can't wait til they get used to the big equipment and can perfect everything.
I was at their soft opening as well. Wasn't exactly blown away by anything, but they are very new so i'll give them a pass. Feel like they could've had a more solid lineup to start off with a bang. IPA was good though
I swung by Friday night around 8 and hung out for a bit. Beers were pretty good, for the most part. Good sized brew floor and tasting room. I'll definitely be heading back.
Update to this. Draft has been out and is making its way to bars and such in central Jersey. Cans of IPA are also now working their way into the market. I'll be looking around to find them for sure.
Excited to give this place a try and combine it with a trip to Village Idiot. It's a shame that High Street Grill is closed, however, as that would have been one nice day.
From their IG, they picked up some Rum Barrels for their barrel program. Hopefully during the holidays I can check Village Idiot and Spellbound out.
Picked up a six pack of IPA at Joe Canals in Lawrenceville today. Drinking one now and I have to say this is firmly on the solid side. I am presently surprised, Spellbound is on my radar now.
Stopped in today and glad I did. Peach DIPA was awesome as well as the Coconut palo santo aged porter. Picked up a growler of their regular Ipa. The robust porter was excellent too. Looking forward to trying more of these solid brews.
