Did I miss the announcement? I went back through the Spencer Brewery Twitter feed, and see no mention of distribution to CO (only official announcements I saw revolved around FL), but it appears to be on tap in Ft Collins (Twitter), Applejack (this thread), and now Hazel's in Boulder appears to carry it. I'd be curious to know if anyone saw something official go out from the brewery / monastery, and / or any info about their (apparently expanded) distribution? Either way, I'm super stoked to be able to try the beer alongside some other favorite Trappist ales, now that it appears to be readily available.
If my memory bank serves me well, which it often doesn't, I remember reading that Spencer had intentions to distribute across parts of 'Mercia when they opened. I just didn't think it would happen so quickly. It was on tap tonight at Hops and Pie and it's quite tasty. Definitely worth a try.
Nice. Been meaning to try this. Interested in tossing these and the Austrian ones in with the Belgian and Dutch Trappists. Hell, it's worth comparing with the German and New Mexican monastic brews, too.
