spezi keller bamberg

    howdy.

    do any of you lot know if the spezial keller is open right now (the indoor bit i guess) ? im headed over to bamberg again on monday and fancied a walk up the hill

    Usually open, except their one Ruhetag (maybe Tuesday, but not 100% sure).

    "Montag ist Ruhetag" according to their website. Enjoy your visit, the beer is pretty delicious there.

    FYI, they close for roughly the month of September -- after Sandkerwa

    We found that was true, that some bars and breweries were closed the week after. Hummel was closed when we went on a non Ruhetag day. Pelikan was closed the week after. Maybe I don't blame them after seeing Sandkerwa.

    Edit I am certain that we went to Spezial Keller the week after for dinner.

    Toschuster was closed during Sandkerwa, Thomas said "too many drunks".
