Anyone order from or shop this place http://www.spiceandtea.com/, dam they got alot of spices, rubs, all kinds of stuff. I think I even saw powdered beer?? Going to order some spices for a fall beer and wanted to check with everyone to see if this place was legit.

No, but their flavored sugars look kind of interesting for beer (if they weren't so damn expensive)

I've been to the Tarpon Springs location. Pretty cool shop but I prefer Savory Spice Shop http://www.savoryspiceshop.com/?gclid=CNP5ufOB-bgCFSdp7AodtD0A8g. The beer powder is nothing more than a pretty ordinary beer on a malto dextrin base. I suggest adding good beer to a recipe, unless you wanted a dry application.

Yea, I agree. I just thought "beer powder" was unusual. I ordered some of their pumpkin spice to do a DFH pumkin ale clone in a couple weeks.

Why aren't you using specific ingredients? I'd be ordering some whole nutmeg, cinnamon, allspice and buy a little fresh ginger at a supermarket.

I guess I'm just a little lazy and I like the convenience, also not sure about being able to tell the difference in the final product weather or not it was whole cinnamon sticks, hand ground nutmeg, or fresh ginger. Also the blend of their pumpkin spices seemed interesting and I figured it might be better than the stuff on the grocery store shelves.
