Does the new Rogue Spiegelau stout enhance the overall drinking of stouts?
The Speigelau IPA glass is my goto glass for IPAs.

    Anyone tried this new glass?

Well, I've tried it (by which I mean bought it) and I've found that it at least changes the smell by making it easier to get some smells. To me, it seems that the glass does a better job of enhancing each note to the point to where you can start better distinguishing each note from each other, and finiding some notes that would have been undetectable otherwise. I say go buy it.

It's the same with IPA glass. The subtleties of flavor come out better.
Also- I don't think it's my imagination- the Crate and Barrel IPA glass looks slightly different than the
    Standard Spiegelau glass.

I bought the Spiegelau craft beer tasting kit that includes the stout, IPA, wheat, and pilsner glass. I have used the IPA and stout glasses the most and I think they really help get better aroma from the beer and since smell is a big part of taste I think they improve tasting ability as well.

My only complaint is now i rarely use any of my other 10+ glasses on big beers anymore...

I think it's awesome. You definitely get an emphasis on the aroma. It drinks real smooth and fine as well if that makes sense. The only "complaint" I have and it's one you'll see often is how thin the glass is. Then again, I believe that's part of the design process. Wash it carefully and enjoy.

The real thin glassware I have scares me, feel like it's going to shatter everytime I touch it.

BUT I've read that beer in a thin glass warms at a slower rate than beer in a thicker glass because science.

Yeah, I broke mine just picking it up...

I actually didn't love it anyway, I feel like it was good for a regular stout but I like something smaller for a bigger or BBA stout.
