Just saw this posted by a local radio station. I am intrigued but probably wouldn't buy it because I keep my beer cellared or refrigerated.
If you have the ability to remember to bring your drill/drill-replacement-thingy-they-show with you to a tailgate, then you have the ability to remember to put your beer in the fridge the night before. Also, do they say how long it takes to chill it? Is it the mere seconds they imply?
One of my local shops that also sells for on-site consumption, has a chiller. You buy a bottle off the shelf (if there's nothing in the cooler you want) hand it to them, and the machine spins the bottle for about 30 seconds. Nice chilly beer that quickly! You can also hand spin in an ice bucket or cooler chest, just rub the neck of the bottle between your hands, while the body of the bottle is in ice, for a couple minutes. Plus, for cans, you only have to have them on ice a few minutes before they're chilly. This thing seems unnecessary.
