    Hi all--

DAMN IT! I was so excited to finally try Dead Guy Ale last night. I opened the bottle, poured it, and it was completely tepid. No bubbles, no head. I heard it was supposed to produce a lot of head, especially in a tulip glass so I knew that was probably wrong but I tried it anyway. I'm still trying to forget about the way it tasted. Gross. So sad to pour 22 oz. of non-cheap beer down the drain! I've only really been heavily into craft beer for about a year now and this is the first time that's happened to me. I know next to nothing about beer chemistry other than what I've heard on brewery tours. Has this happened to anyone else, and do you think this beer was dead on arrival or is this something that is normally the result of the consumer being careless (i.e. storing it wrong, storing it at the wrong temp, etc)? I want to hopefully prevent it form happening again if I can.

    Thanks!
