Spoiled by Homebrew?

    Thanks, forgot that site existed! Actually doing a trade with holzwama so I'll finally be able to try TTAM for myself and see what all the hype's about.

    yes, AND I also live in Illinois... so maybe there is something there. I am disappointed by some brews that are meh for me because I can make something better and they get high rankings because of loyalty reasons. I'm deeply deeply sick of citra-hopped ipas. I won't order an unknown IPA anymore, for fear of cat-piss citra. In general though I tend to run against the fad current in my tastes, so whatever's on the rise, I'm not into. I'm no fan of some of the fakery going on in the craft beer movement (and I realize it's accepted fakery but... nevertheless). I've seen too many "lagers" fermented at ale-temperatures or kettle soured belgians at this point. I can and do make proper lagers and sours.
