Better than last year? Thoughts on lineup? It's formatted a bit differently than the WABL fest and I thought that kind of encouraged breweries to bring more standards than one-offs.

Feedback I heard was mostly about price.

With most breweries only bringing two beers (though some sneak in more), the lineup does skew toward the usual suspects. It seems more like a festival for the general public to become acquainted with area breweries, whereas the Avista event is more geared to beer geeks (though both certainly attract some of each audience).

As for pricing, at a package deal of $30 for admission and 13 tokens, it was a 50 percent increase over last year ($7 admission plus $1 per token). But at $30 for 26 ounces of beer, it's in the ballpark (so to speak) of the Avista gate price of $25 for 30 ounces, and it gets you in the door both days while the Avista event is a separate ticket each day.
