I have to miss out (I went earlier, though, as part of their soft opening). I spent too much money last weekend in Oly, mostly on family members (I could spend a lot of money on beer if not for nieces, siblings and parents). For the same reason I'm not scouring the bottle shops for Rusty Nail until next Tuesday. Hopefully, y'all will leave a bottle or two on the shelf for me in the meantime! <there needs to be an emoticon for "desperately pleading">

Probably check it out this afternoon. That little corner of downtown is turning into beer central

So, anybody attend? If present, I might have made a play for the 120 Min but for the fact I had some at The Swamp the weekend before last, and am a little jealous I couldn't have some of the pork (or if @checktherhyme , pug ). I'm going to try to hit River City this weekend and try that gose.

They still don't do growler fills. What a joke.

Maybe they don't have enough beer to do fills? If I was a small brewery, id prefer to have enough to serve people in-house instead of running out.

I could understand that if they didnt do growler fills for the house breweries, but the taproom doesn't do growler fills of anything. They have 20+ beers available and only a handful of them are from the actual in house breweries.

Maybe they're not interested in doing growler fills? Does it require any extra licensing?

Licensing is the reason. Full disclosure, I'm one of the owners. We're currently a nightclub license, which does not allow growler fills. Because of the model it was the only option that allowed us to not have our own food (Zona Blanca is a separate business, think indoor food truck) and still have liquor. The breweries can technically fill them but there's not really a retail presence for them yet and we can't be doing business in both the taproom and brewery at the same time.

If you're looking for a fill of LSBC beer, it's frequently on at both north and south Growler Guys plus Steady Flow. Sorry if whoever told you we didn't fill growlers made it seem like we don't want to. We would if we could.
