Just looking for a number, as I'm putting together a tasting for local BA's.

Lemme know if you're here, and what your top three styles are.

    cheers

    Present.

IPA, Sour, Imperial Stout. I like any style and can contribute bottles.

I'm here. Will be in WI next week tho. Message me if there's anything you're looking for from the cheesefat state.

    Top three styles...difficult.

    1. Stout and variants
    2. IPA (but probably not for a tasting, maybe replace with Saison)
    3. Flanders Oud Bruin

    Honorable mentions...
    Gooeueuze
    BSDA/Quad
    Baltic Porter

Yeah, I agree with the IPA thing, and change my vote. Unless, there is Heady or something crazy, I'd rather do Saisons.

I have Cantillons, or Parabola from the past 3 years that I could contribute. Also a couple Russian River Sours, 2011 Saison Brett, and a few other good things. I'd be more than happy to host too.

all depends.. but i suppose I am a Spokane resident.
And ehh I don't really care all that much. I definitely have been to contribute for such an occasion however.

    Here.

    I like anything but Belgians...but I'm easy.

I definitely have some non-local stuff I could bring.

I'm with you on IPAs for a tasting, otherwise I'm pretty flexible. Impy Stouts, Dubbels/Tripels/Quads, Baltic Porters, Saisons, goofy one-offs all sound good to me.

One thing no one has mentioned yet - lagers of any kind.
In that regard, I'm especially partial to Doppelbocks and real German pilseners. Like others, I can contribute some bottles as well, if I can make it. What date are you shooting for?

Depending on timing and finances, maybe I could send over a couple growlers of Chuckanut to scratch that Lager itch for ya.

I haven't set a date, just getting a feel for number of heads and styles enjoyed. I'd like to do one or two this year, and ultimately establish a trend. I know there are a few of us in the area, but we have never really gotten together that I'm aware of.

Woemad: I've got a bottle or two left of Grand Teton's original release of Double Vision doppelbock (released '09), and it was just released again this year. If you scoop up a bottle and hang onto it, I'd be happy to do a side by side with you.

Holy crap! Thought I'd replied to this a while ago!

I'd likewise be happily agreeable to comparing the two. Unfortunately, I haven't seen it at Huckleberry's, near where I live. I'm in Kennewick at the moment, but on my way back to Spokane today I'll be stopping at Mid Columbia Wine, etc, to see if they've got any bottles.
