Hey BAs, Heading over to Castle Island (not the brewery) with family for the afternoon. Anywhere close to there I should hit up? Seems like there aren't really any breweries in Southie, but maybe some bars with good taplists? Thanks!
Local 149 is probably the closest best bet. It won't blow you away in either beer selection or food, but they do a good job. If you can make it to Fort Point you then have Row 34, City Tap(chain), and Trillium. Just stay away from Hopsters!
