I was just informed by a trading partner of mine from Milwaukee that Sprecher Brewing Co is headed to Texas this Summer/Fall. No other details really but they make some really nice beers, I've enjoyed several from their Premium and Limited series.

    Thank you Jester King!

Beat me to it! That TABC link needs to be made permanent on this site!

I don't know if this helps, but Sprecher makes sodas as well, and they are available here as of recently. Hopefully that means their beers are not to far behind!

I saw some Goose Island sodas at Central Market the other day.

At our club brewin yesterday someone brought some older sprecher beers. All of them were solid. the tripel, ocktoberfest, dunkel, and another one I cant remember. but do remember them being pretty tasty

Here in Dallas I've seen Sprecher sodas for quite a while. I don't know exactly how long, but I'd say at least a year?

As far as their beers go, they have one of the most unusual glass bottle sizes I've seen at 16oz. Never been super impressed with any of their beers though except the Bourbon Barrel Doppel Bock which was awesome. I hear their Black Bavarian is solid too, but never had it.

    Cheers,
    Chad

I've had a couple of bottles of their barrel aged scotch ale and it was pretty tasty.

Now 3 out of those are definitely worth my money. I love a good Trippel, Maibock and SA.
