I'm not gonna lie, but that 2013 list of "breweries" is undoubtedly the worst festival lineup I have ever seen.

The only rare beer I've ever seen tapped at one of these was KBS when Founders just got to NY...wasn't even a big deal to people. Otherwise the only beer people go ga-ga for at this, is BCBS...and it's a shit show.

Agreed. This event is pretty lame in that aspect.

A little off topic, a couple of years ago when I was a craft newbie, walked into Rattle n Hum for a beer on a Saturday afternoon, lo and behold, KBS was on tap. No line, no people sleeping in the streets, just some people at the bar enjoying beer. Ah, the good old days !

The Nassau event is generally not an awesome lineup of breweries. I tend to like the Blue Point cask festival and the North Fork festival better.

Alphabet City Beer Co. randomly had Everett on tap earlier this year. Strolled in early in the afternoon to try it. They didn't seem to think it was a big deal.

Now if it was announced that a bar was having Hill Farmstead on tap...
