I'm heading to Springfield and Columbus Ohio over the thanksgiving holiday. I was hopping some of you Ohio BA's could point me in the direction of a few great bottle shops in those areas? Thanks in advance!

In the Columbus area there are two Anderson's stores, plus I see frequent recommendations in these threads for Weiland's and Palmer's. You can go to Places on the BA site and look them up to get addresses. I have only been to the Anderson's on Sawmill Road when I've traveled thru Columbus, and it's a good one.

I can't help you for Springfield; I've never been there. If no one chimes in for that city then do a Places search for Springfield. The highest-ranked ones are always the best ones.

Sawmill Anderson's, Barrel and Bottle, and Blacklick Wine and Spirits in Columbus. As for Springfield, your guess is good as mine.

Between those 3 I mentioned, you won't want for anything in Columbus though. Helpful hint, if you don't get a case of Columbus IPA, you are doing it wrong.

If you're taking I-70 through/past Springfield to Columbus, then before you get to Springfield I'd recommend stopping in Dayton at Belmont Party Supply. It's definitely worth going a little bit out of your way to stop there. I really can't think of anywhere in Springfield that's worth going to for craft beer. And Keffa and Mothergoose03 have already recommended good places in Columbus to stop for bottles (Although I recommend Blacklick since it's the local store I go to quite often).

Wine works in springfield is as good as it gets. As far as columbus goes Kenny rd market, andersons and whole foods are all within 20 minutes of each other. I have quite a horde of beer if you want to stop by and pick through them. BM if interested. Hope this helps!
