Will be in Springfield next week for the truck show. Is there a good bottle shop with local brews and some of the brews I can't get in Kansas? Firestone Walker, Laughing Dog, Bells?

Brown Derby International Wine Center, 2023 S. Glenstone. Talk to Eric; great dude, very knowledgeable, loves to chat about beer. Best bottle shop in the area by a wide margin.

This topic has been covered before, the search function works well.

WHile the selection is decent at the Derby Wine Center they are over-priced and service is lacking. You would be better off just making a stop at Mother's

Agreed on the pricing, if I lived there I would be seeking an alternative to be sure ( not sure what the local Macadoodles is like, the one in Republic wasn't half bad )

So does Missouri let brewpubs have a bottle shop? I might have to move. :astonished:

Brown Derby is the best bottleshop in Springfield - to answer your question: Yes and No. Yes, you can get FW and Bells (I just got some Opal). No, you cannot get Laughing Dog. However, you should really go to the Mother's shop as evilcatfish said - they have Love Factory out as a taproom only release which is top notch.
