Heading south from KC for a family thing for a day or two. Is there anything special going on in Springfield? Anyone making English style ales, great lagers, or just great pale ales? Bonus points for saison recommendations
I've only been to 4 by 4 (Fremont Hills location) down there. If we visit my girlfriend's friends, we're usually looking for more of a full bar since I'm the only one in the group who loves beer. Fremont Hills was more of a fun brewery atmosphere rather than high quality brews. We nearly made it to Hold Fast, but we were leaving downtown just slightly too late. Seems like a cool location. Her friends sorta dispersed from the Springfield area, so not certain when I'll get down there again.
