Hey everyone....going to be in the Springfield-Northampton area from next week for about 5-6 days. Any feeback for good beer places and/or stores would be greatly appreciated. I have already been to table vine for beer runs in the past...albeit a little more expensive than my Raleigh, NC area. Been to the Student prince-hofbruahuas etc. Hows the Northampton brewery? Any feedback...ty.
In Northampton, you should definatley check out The Dirty Truth and Seirra Grille. Both have GREAT draft lists. Sierra Grille has better food IMHO but the Truth also serves up some good eats as well. Also in Northampton, a good beer store is Provisions. Cheers! http://dirtytruthbeerhall.com/ http://thesierragrille.com/ http://www.provisionswine.com/

A mcladdens has opened in town with about 100 taps, I haven't been but you should be able to grab some Treehouse beers there. The link dean head posted should cover it though.
McLaddens' tap selection looks rather impressive. I'll have to check that place out next time i I head south. Thanks for the tip.
For stores, in West Springfield, there's Table and Vine. Also, I recall finding a few gems at Liquor 44 in Northampton.
Tried Mcladden's in Northampton last weekend. Among the 109 taps, they had Hoptimum, Stone Espresson IRS, Stone Oak Old Guardian, and two Treehouse offerings. In Springfield, check out Smith's for a respectable selection at a cool pool hall.
If you have the chance to swing into Amherst. Come to High Horse in downtown. We are offering farm to table food, amazing beer, and a great atmosphere. We are in the same location that used to be Amherst Brewing Co. (they moved across town to university drive) check their new space out too!
If u go to the Hoops Hall of Fame in Springfield there is a Plan B Burger Bar literally in the same complex. Tasty burgers & a solid tap list.
