Probably the best smelling coffee beer I've had in a long time.

I had a pint last night. It's a straight coffee bomb on the nose and taste for sure. Definitely my favorite seasonal offering ABW puts out (and I LOVE Einhorn).

Hopfields and Houndstooth both have it on right now. It's quite amazing. Excellent coffee aroma.

It's at Draught House as well.

Saw it at the Saucer on Wednesday during their Vertical Epic release party... unfortunately if I had one more beer, I would've keeled over dead (or at least been quite drunk).

    What's a Sputnik?

Other than a Russian Satellite that is...

Its divine. I sure wish they would start canning it - it would be a go-to for me, year round.

The nose on it reminds me of Central Waters Coffee Stout.

Glad to hear y'all are enjoying Sputnik. It's one of our favorite beers to make. Cuvee makes some damn good coffee, and it really makes all the difference. For those of you who are interested, we use about 1lb of coffee per barrel. Another interesting fact is that Sputnik contains about 1/10th the caffeine content of an equal volume of drip coffee.

Right now, Draught House, Hopfields, and Whip-In are the only places that have the growlers (other than our brewery).

PS - I'll be giving away free samples of Sputnik at the Alamo Drafthouse Slaughter tonight from 4:30-6:00ish.

    Cheers!

Love the beer Michael! When and where will we see the BA Sputnik from last years batch?

On second thought, don't post that, just BM me.

Any plans on canning or bottling? Sure would love to be able to crack a Sputnik on occasion throughout the year.

Peche mortel is pretty great stuff. It's been about a year since I've had it. I may try and do these all side by side this month.

Early 2013, possibly only at the brewery.
