@SquirrelsBrews : trade issue resolved

That is complete BS. I was at Trillium on October 10th and was able to pick up Pier and DDHFPPA. I am not local,but locals can chime in, there are almost always IPAs available at Trillium.

 

I'll chip in beers and shipping

 

They had DDH Melcher, Uppercase, Congress st, and Fort Point in bottles between 9/25 and 10/3. Those are some pretty good IPA's IMO.

 

This month Trillium has basically always had some sort of pale ale on, not sure there was any time they didn't and if there were a time then it was when deciduous was on too, not a pale but a stout either

 

There was a stretch at one point where they were pretty thin on bottle availability, but I think it was a few months ago IIRC.

Thanks for the support, hate and detective work on untappd everyone.. It's sucks that it had to come to this over a $30 box for box. It's too bad @Matthew_Reagor couldn't just contact me on the phone instead of blowing up BA and my twitter. I clearly told Matthew that I had made 2 trips to trillium to get the "hops" he wanted. On the first occasion the only bottles available at the shop were pot and kettle and a barleywine with coffee infusion. Second trip I missed the congress street and fort point bottles by 20 minutes. That was clearly communicated. Over the last two weeks since I have spoke with Matthew, things got busy and making my way 45 minutes to Boston was not the first thing on my mind. Not only did I go out of my way 3 times to trillium to get his bottles, I also tried to make good for him by making a stop at treehouse for a few cans. Hopefully @Matthew_Reagor is an understanding person (Or I guess not...). His box is en route everyone. Not to fear.

 

So, you claim that @Matthew_Reagor is not understanding? Did you not state on the 17th that you had everything and you would ship? Was that not clearly communicated by you? It appears that this thread is the only reason you shipped his box (or not).

 

I really wish under these *circumstances* that the feedback system was used and *negative* feedback was left.

In the end, OP *finally* gets his beer (yet to determined) and another trader to add to my DTL.

 

@SquirrelsBrews So what's up with ignoring the messages on 10/23 and 10/27? You couldn't find 30 seconds to give your trading partner a quick update? Would've prevented this whole thing.

 

The trade was made on BA. You got your beer 2 months ago, he had nothing. He should be blowing up your BA account and you should be responding on BA, he should not have to call you.

And I love the blame the victim defense, common tactic with people who don't follow up on agreements and get called out.

 

What a tone deaf, piece of garbage response. You "went out of your way"? What kind of nonsense is that? You made a deal. You don't make the guy wait two months and then claim some kind of hardship about having to drive to get the beer you promised. No one cares that it is a 45 minute trip. No one cares that you went three times to get his beer. No one cares that it was a "$30 box". You made a deal. If you can't live up to your end, then don't trade beers and certainly don't show up in a completely warranted bad trader thread whining about your "poor me" horseshit.

 

Yep, poor guy had to go "out of his way" to fulfill a trade that he agreed to and is drinking the other person's beer...what a trooper. Sorry but a 45min drive is far from hero status @SquirrelsBrews

 

@blue-dream @F2brewers @Matthew_Reagor If @SquirrelsBrews doesn't want to take any responsibility for his past delays, past non-responses, past false promises, and his recent attempt to lay blame on the victim instead of acknowledging his unacceptable actions, can you link this thread to his profile page so others will be properly warned?

But we agree on one thing--it is too bad that you and no one but you personally forced it to come to this. To bad for OP, that is.

 

OP should send him a trade request for this current trade. The least SquirrelBrews is accept the trade and let OP leave appropriate feedback.
